Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (7:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13–18 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
• Administer and manage medications in accordance with facility protocols, with competency validated via safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Document and track hours worked through the designated workforce management platform
• Maintain compliance with all annual hands-on competency and module requirements as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• NIHSS certification — must be willing to obtain prior to start
• Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (Charge RN references accepted; co-worker references not accepted)
• Locals are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location (preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
