Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Spokane, WA | Short Term Acute Care / Level II Trauma Center

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple units, including floor care, emergency room, and participation in code and rapid response teams
• Float between units as needed to meet patient care demands
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:11 while delivering high-quality respiratory care
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all clinical documentation
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Valid Washington State license must be in hand at time of submission (compact license accepted if active)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Experience with floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response required
• Block scheduling commitment required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a different rate)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care or Level II Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience floating between multiple units or sister facilities
