Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Rotating weekday and weekend call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an endoscopy/GI lab setting across procedure rooms and PACU bays
• Perform and assist with endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
• Manage patients in the PACU at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform and support airway management as required during procedures and recovery
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Float to PACU as needed and participate in rotating weekday and weekend call

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated airway management skills
• PACU experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior GI/Endoscopy unit experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Energetic, team-oriented personality well-suited to a fast-paced procedural environment
