Travel Respiratory Therapist – Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | Full-Time | Onsite | Projected Start: September 28, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor respiratory treatments including nebulizers, BIPAP/CPAP, and mechanical ventilation
- Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis
- Manage a typical floor assignment of 20–25 treatments per round
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment including oxygen delivery systems and blood gas machines
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage and on-call shifts, with on-call expected approximately one 24-hour shift every 5–6 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
- Current Virginia State Respiratory Therapy License required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- ICU experience required — candidates without ICU experience will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Proficiency with ventilator management in an acute or critical care setting
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high patient volumes
