Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit on a night shift schedule
• Float to other facilities within the health system as needed
• Work weekends as needed based on departmental requirements
• Maintain compliance with all facility-required annual competencies, modules, and credentialing requirements
• Complete BCI/FBI background fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active Ohio RRT license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• NBRC certification required — active and in hand at time of submission (nothing pending)
• BLS certification required — active and in hand at time of submission (nothing pending)
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) — this is a smoke-free, nicotine-free facility with no exceptions; negative screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Two professional references required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in neuro diagnostics or a related specialty area
• Familiarity with large health system environments and the ability to adapt across multiple care settings
• Strong compliance track record with travel or contract assignments
