Key Responsibilities

• Perform PT evaluations and treatments across inpatient (acute, ICU, SNF) and outpatient settings
• Provide independent, thorough care for a wide range of outpatient diagnoses in a rural setting
• Manage acute to SNF inpatient mobility progression with knowledge of discharge planning
• Work across ER, ICU, Med/Surg (Acute, Observation, and SNF), and occasionally OB
• Deliver extensive services in a hospital-based outpatient PT clinic
• Manage a full schedule of 5–15 patients per day with appointments every 30–45 minutes and one-hour new evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Active Hawaii Physical Therapist license required (candidates should initiate licensure process promptly)
• Ability to practice independently in a rural healthcare environment
• Experience working across multiple care settings including acute care, ICU, SNF, and outpatient
• Knowledge of discharge planning and inpatient mobility progression

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a rural or critical access hospital setting
• Familiarity with ER and OB physical therapy needs
• Ability to manage a high-volume, mixed inpatient/outpatient caseload efficiently
