Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (Monday–Saturday rotation; expected every other Saturday)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments pre, intra, and post dialysis treatments in a 32-station outpatient chronic dialysis unit
• Administer and monitor hemodialysis treatments using B. Braun dialysis machines
• Maintain hemodialysis care for a patient assignment of 4 patients, supported by float or charge nurse as needed
• Complete interdisciplinary assessments and contribute to individualized patient care plans
• Adhere to department policy practices and medication administration protocols
• Participate in department orientation covering the water system, dialysis equipment, and facility policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2.5 years of recent dialysis nursing experience
• Experience in an outpatient/chronic dialysis clinic setting
• Active North Dakota RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Active BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Documented EPIC experience (please note on resume where utilized)
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates living between 60 and 80 miles may be subject to a local travel rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNN (Certified Nephrology Nurse) or CDN (Certified Dialysis Nurse) certification highly desired
• Familiarity with B. Braun dialysis equipment
• Experience with interdisciplinary care planning in a chronic dialysis environment
