Physical Therapist – Pediatric Inpatient / Outpatient

Contract (13 or 26 weeks, traveler's choice) | Days | 4x10 or 5x8 schedule (traveler's choice) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Deliver patient care in alignment with facility protocols using Epic for clinical documentation and charting
• Participate in weekend coverage, with approximately 1–2 weekend shifts per month expected
• Be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Adhere to facility compliance requirements including completion of onboarding modules prior to start and annually thereafter

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Physical Therapist (PT) License required (pending license accepted; license must be in hand for auto-offer consideration — estimated processing time 10–12 weeks)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience; first-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
• Pediatric physical therapy experience required per unit direction
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required during the compliance process
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma hospital environment
• Familiarity with pediatric inpatient and outpatient care settings
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, high-acuity patient population
