Physical Therapist – Pediatric Inpatient / Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 or 26 weeks, traveler's choice) | Days | 4x10 or 5x8 schedule (traveler's choice) | Onsite | Approximately 1–2 weekend shifts per month required | Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services within a pediatric inpatient and outpatient setting
• Deliver patient care in alignment with facility protocols using Epic for clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet individualized patient goals across the pediatric population
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby as needed to meet facility demands
• Complete required facility onboarding modules prior to start and annually thereafter

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Physical Therapist license required (pending license accepted for submission; license must be in hand for offer)
• Pediatric physical therapy experience required
• Experience with Epic electronic health records
• Willingness to work approximately 1–2 weekend shifts per month
• 2 references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience in an acute hospital environment
• Familiarity with Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility workflows
• Experience floating across departments or affiliate facilities
