Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Night Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular medical/surgical unit with a full patient ratio
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms throughout each shift
- Float to other units within the facility in an RN capacity, assuming a full patient ratio as needed
- Participate in orientation as scheduled, including required non-billable orientation hours
- Adhere to holiday and weekend rotation requirements as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Passing score on EKG Test required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- New graduates are not eligible for this position
- Experience with cardiovascular nursing required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a cardiovascular or cardiac-focused care setting
- Comfort with floating to various units and adapting to different patient populations
