Contract | 13-Week Assignment | 4 Days x 10 Hours | Start Time 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Projected Start: October 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with pain procedure injections in an OR setting, including Pre-Op and PACU phases of care
• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process — assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — for assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and available resources

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of employment or valid compact license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Pain Management nursing, including Pain Procedures, Pre-Op, OR, and PACU
• Must be willing to float to other units or locations as needed
• Availability for weekend and on-call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience working independently in complex or high-acuity clinical settings
• Demonstrated ability to make appropriate assignments and delegate effectively to other care providers
