Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Every other weekend rotation expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg, PCU, and Telemetry setting on night shift
• Perform charge nurse duties as needed, requiring the ability to work independently
• Float to other units, including the Emergency Department and Mother/Child Health, based on facility need
• Participate in every other weekend rotation as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Vermont or compact state eligibility
• Experience in Med/Surg, PCU, Stepdown, or Telemetry nursing
• Ability to work independently and assume charge nurse responsibilities
• Willingness and ability to float to other units (ED, Mother/Child Health) as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a critical access or small community hospital environment
• Charge nurse or leadership experience in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with Emergency Department or Mother/Child Health workflows
