Travel RN – Emergency Room (Night Shift, Holiday Coverage)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting throughout the duration of the holiday coverage period
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients across varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements during all shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) including holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems commonly used in acute care settings
• ACLS and/or TNCC certification
