Contract | Full-Time | Nights (3x12, 19:00–07:00) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/Stepdown unit within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center setting
• Titrate and manage cardiac drips — this is a hard-stop requirement for this role
• Monitor and manage a patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Float to Telemetry or Medical-Surgical floors when the unit is overstaffed, as travelers are first to float
• Complete required modules prior to start and during orientation; module time is non-billable
• Document patient care using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU/Stepdown RN experience required
• Demonstrated experience titrating and managing cardiac drips
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day (candidates may select either Thanksgiving or Christmas, but not both)
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted under a separate rate structure)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a teaching hospital or high-acuity acute care environment
• Familiarity with Telemetry or Medical-Surgical workflows, given float expectations
• Experience working within a Level II Trauma Center setting
