Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg setting within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, with willingness to flex into other departments as needed
• Identify patient and family education needs and deliver instruction using appropriate modalities
• Ensure patient safety through preventative measures including proper use of side rails, restraints, and equipment; follow and document restraint policy correctly
• Maintain complete, accurate, and concise documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and patient responses throughout the assigned shift
• Process and verify physician orders in a timely manner, including 24-hour order checks as applicable to the assigned shift
• Report critical lab values to the physician per policy, maintain and restock emergency carts, and implement infection control and standard precautions at all times

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license required
• Experience in PCU, Telemetry, and/or MedSurg nursing
• Demonstrated knowledge of safe equipment operation in PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg environments
• Ability to perform accurate change-of-shift reporting and interdepartmental communication

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital or similar small-facility setting
• Familiarity with troubleshooting clinical equipment and accessing equipment manuals
• Demonstrated flexibility to float and support multiple units or departments as needed
