Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services to a caseload that includes neuro, orthopedic, and medically complex patients
• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans within the outpatient setting
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies, scheduling requirements, and compliance standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Physical Therapist License required (compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses accepted)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Must be available to commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All time-off requests must be submitted upfront at the time of candidacy; post-offer requests may not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience treating neurological and orthopedic patient populations in an outpatient setting
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or high-acuity hospital-affiliated outpatient environment
