Cath Lab Tech – Travel Contract

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | On-call rotation expected approximately 15 days per month (call-in frequency is typically low)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Operate and monitor specialized Cath Lab equipment throughout procedures
• Prepare and maintain the catheterization laboratory environment to ensure patient safety and procedural readiness
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by departmental scheduling needs
• Document procedural data accurately and in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Valid RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active and unrestricted state licensure or registration as applicable
• Prior experience working in a Cath Lab or EP setting
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as part of the scheduled rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Previous travel contract experience in a Cath Lab environment
• Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and contrast injection protocols
