Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with one Saturday morning per month (8:00 AM–12:00 PM); compensatory time is provided to keep expected weekly hours at 40
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services within a rehabilitation setting
- Perform bedside swallow evaluations and modified barium swallow studies
- Assess and treat patients with dysphagia and related communication or swallowing disorders
- Document clinical findings and treatment progress using facility EMR (Altera Sunrise)
- Participate in holiday coverage as needed per facility requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Demonstrated experience with bedside swallow evaluations and modified barium swallow studies
- New graduates will not be considered; prior clinical experience is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3–4 years of clinical SLP experience preferred
- Strong dysphagia background highly desirable
- VitalStim certification is a plus but not required
- Self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently with strong clinical initiative
