Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Float Position | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting during overnight shifts
• Float across units as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to float across units as assigned
• No more than three days of time-off requests will be considered; holiday time-off requests will not be approved

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity or fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Demonstrated adaptability in float or multi-unit nursing roles
