Travel RN – Labor and Delivery (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support patients through labor and delivery, including inductions and augmentations
- Circulate and assist during cesarean section procedures
- Provide care for antepartum patients across varying acuity levels
- Conduct initial newborn assessments and attend to newborns at delivery
- Adhere to AWHONN nurse-to-patient ratio standards based on patient acuity and care type
- Meet weekend scheduling requirements as part of the standard rotation
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of employment or valid compact license
- Current BLS certification required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current certification required from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Instructor, AWHONN Instructor Trainer, or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Pitocin administration for induction and augmentation
- Familiarity with cervical ripening agents such as Cytotec
- Experience managing triage and antepartum patient populations
