Contract | Days | 3x12 or 4x12 shifts, 7:00–19:30 | Holiday work required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting
• Fulfill charge nurse responsibilities as applicable, with charge pay available
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required — floating is 100% required of all travelers
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as part of the contract schedule
• Maintain compliance with all facility and travel compliance requirements throughout the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license must be in hand prior to start date (temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license application has been submitted)
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• All required certifications must be in hand at time of submission — refer to unit description for specific certifications required
• Nursing degree from a university accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
• 2 supervisor references required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Indiana residents are not accepted for this PICU position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a pediatric or critical care setting
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying patient care environments and float assignments
• Experience working in a high-acuity ICU environment
