Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: October 19, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines in a high-acuity hospital setting
• Operate and monitor a range of ventilators and respiratory equipment including GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/pediatric vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive devices, and high-flow oxygen devices (Vapotherm, Comfort Flow)
• Document patient care and assessments using Cerner EMR
• Float to all critical care units and floor areas as needed
• Participate in varying weekend shifts — expected minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Adhere to facility dress code: medium gray/pewter scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — required; CRTs will not be considered
• Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Experience in NICU and/or pediatric respiratory care settings
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
