Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Block schedule required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/Step-Down unit within a Short Term Acute Care, Level III Trauma Center setting
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4
• Document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
• Participate in block scheduling, including every other weekend and 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as needed
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU/Step-Down RN experience required
• Must commit to block scheduling requirements, including holiday coverage
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted under a separate rate structure)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic EMR
• Experience in a Level III Trauma Center or acute care environment
• Flexibility to float between units and adapt to varying patient populations
