Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting within a teaching hospital environment
• Rotate through multiple care areas including L&D, circulator, baby RN, triage, and high-risk antepartum
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Maintain compliance with all facility orientation modules and required training prior to and during assignment start
• Adhere to a flexible scheduling structure with no scheduling requests accommodated

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience (first-time travelers require a minimum of 3 years L&D RN experience)
• Active, permanent California RN license required at time of submission — no pending or temporary licenses accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• Flu vaccination required; no exemptions accepted during flu season
• High-risk antepartum experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• 2 professional references from within the past year required at time of submission; must be supervisor-level or higher (Charge RN references not accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome; no radius rule applies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience rotating through multiple L&D sub-roles including triage and circulator
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity or teaching hospital setting
• Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling in fast-paced clinical environments
