Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Every Other Weekend Coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including stroke/TIA, seizure, syncope, pneumonia, chest pain, dialysis, acute kidney failure, post heart cath, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, CHF, and sepsis
• Deliver high-acuity med-surg and telemetry care with a strong focus on patient experience, maintaining a staffing ratio of 1:6 on nights
• Perform and support specialized procedures including peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census and demonstrated competencies
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• No first-time travelers; prior travel nursing experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates between 50–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate per compliance guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for stroke and TIA patient populations in an inpatient setting
• Familiarity with peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation procedures
• Experience with Omnicell medication management systems
