Registered Nurse – PCU / Stepdown (Cardiac & Pulmonary Telemetry)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a busy cardiac and pulmonary telemetry unit
• Monitor and assess patients requiring progressive/stepdown-level nursing interventions
• Accurately document all patient care activities using Epic EMR
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or valid compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; PCU experience is required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be current and in hand at time of submission
• Epic EMR experience within the past 18 months is required and must be clearly documented on the candidate profile, including where Epic was utilized; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt allowed — failure may result in additional unbillable orientation hours or contract impact)
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission; additional time-off requests will not be considered after submission
• Local candidates are welcome and are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Comfort with floating to other units as needed
• Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac/pulmonary assessment skills
