Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days & Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Expected 36 hours/week | Day shift: 7:00–19:30 | Night shift: 19:00–7:30 | Weekend shifts considered Friday & Saturday nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting, managing complex neurological cases requiring critical care expertise
• Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Document and manage patient records using the Epic electronic health record system
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as required
• Monitor and assess neurological status using standardized stroke assessment tools

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license — compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, with Neuro ICU experience strongly aligned
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BCLS certification (AHA only)
• ACLS certification (AHA only)
• NIHSS certification (AHA only)
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Locals are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Experience with ventilator management and intracranial pressure monitoring in a critical care environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a high-acuity setting
