Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ER Holding environment across a broad patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Monitor and manage patients awaiting inpatient placement or further evaluation in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Perform assessments and interventions consistent with emergency nursing standards of practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and timely patient throughput
• Maintain BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS competencies and adhere to all facility compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with experience in Emergency Room and/or ER Holding required
• Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable for second reference; no coworker references accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing in addition to ER experience
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience caring for diverse patient age groups including pediatric through geriatric populations
