Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every other weekend required | Note: Sundays are not considered a weekend day at this facility

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry; manage dysrhythmias as clinically indicated
• Administer and titrate IV insulin drips and manage IV insulin protocols
• Maintain and manage central lines and peripheral lines per facility policy
• Float to other units within the health system organization as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with strong PCU / Stepdown / IMC / DOU background
• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Proficiency in telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central and peripheral line care, and IV insulin protocols
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple unit types within a large health system
• Familiarity with high-acuity stepdown or intermediate care environments
• Strong communication and adaptability skills in fast-paced settings
