Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Intensive Care Unit with a 2:1 patient ratio (3:1 for low acuity patients)
• Manage ventilator care and perform drip titration for critically ill patients
• Assist with and support procedures including intubation, central lines, endoscopy, tracheostomy, and chest tubes
• Operate Baxter infusion pumps and document care using the Expanse EMR system
• Float to Progressive Care unit as needed
• Fulfill expected schedule including 4 weekend shifts per schedule block

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Medical ICU experience required; candidates without ICU experience will not be considered
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator management and drip titration
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Expanse EMR
• Familiarity with Baxter infusion pump systems
• Progressive Care or step-down unit experience as a secondary background
