Travel RN – Oncology / Transplant & Cellular Therapy

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Oncology/Transplant & Cellular Therapy unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
- Perform chemotherapy and biotherapy administration in accordance with unit protocols
- Support bone marrow transplant (BMT) patients throughout their care continuum
- Administer blood products and perform cardiac monitoring via telemetry
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Float to med-surg as needed and participate in rotating weekend coverage
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas or a valid Multi-State Compact License
- ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification required
- BLS certification required
- Hands-on chemotherapy and biotherapy administration experience
- Bone marrow transplant (BMT) experience
- Hematology experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
- ACLS certification
