Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a 10-bed community hospital ICU setting, including cases involving medical emergencies, post-surgical recovery, respiratory failure, and sepsis
• Manage and stabilize acute stroke patients in coordination with telestroke and teleneurology services within a Primary Stroke Center–certified facility
• Assist in the stabilization of pediatric patients presenting with critical illness as needed, pending transfer to higher-level pediatric care
• Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, and specialty service teams including cardiac and surgical departments
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a community hospital ICU environment
• Familiarity with telestroke or neurology patient populations
• Experience caring for a diverse patient mix including post-surgical and sepsis cases
