Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting, monitoring and managing critically ill neurological patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Maintain BLS and ACLS (AHA) competencies and apply them as needed in critical care situations
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Travel and trauma hospital experience required to be considered
• Experience in a similar hospital setting required
• Flu vaccine required prior to start; no religious exemptions will be considered
• Candidates must not have worked at this facility (permanent, per diem, or travel) within the past 6 months to be eligible
• Local candidates will not be considered for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Neuro ICU or neuroscience critical care environment
• Familiarity with neurological monitoring equipment and protocols
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in high-acuity settings
