Key Responsibilities

• Provide care to pulmonary, intermediate care, ventilated trach patients, and high-acuity units, adhering to established protocols.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and administer cardiac medications and drips.
• Manage ventilated patients, including care of chest tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, HFNC, and ABGs interpretation.
• Perform GI and renal patient care, including feeding tube management, dialysis post-care, and renal failure protocols.
• Implement patient safety protocols, including isolation precautions and emergency response procedures.
• Float within scope across departments and facilities as needed, ensuring compliance with on-call and scheduling requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Strong ventilator and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Ability to use Epic electronic charting system.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with endobronchial valves, ventilators, and specialized pulmonary procedures.
• Knowledge of complex medication protocols including Heparin and cardiac drips.
• Prior experience working in a Magnet-recognized or Level 1 Trauma hospital.
