Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Nights shift, 13-week assignment, full-time hours (12.5 hours per shift), working 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the intermediate care, progressive care, or stepdown units.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to acute changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices.
• Support patient and family education and discharge planning as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in intermediate care, progressive care, or stepdown units.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work the night shift and adapt to a 12.5-hour shift schedule.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a high-volume or Level II trauma hospital setting.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
