• Full-time, Days shifts, 4 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team with positioning, prepping, and draping patients for procedures.
• Set up operating rooms with appropriate equipment and instrumentation, ensuring all is in working condition.
• Provide support during surgeries across various specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedic, ENT, Ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Podiatry, and Urology for both adult and pediatric patients.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure safety standards are upheld throughout procedures.
• Rotate shifts and participate in on-call coverage during nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Surgical Technician training program accredited by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST), military training, or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or CST certification, or current certification from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT-3yr 6240 hours).
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to perform basic duties of a surgical technologist and work in a fast-paced, clinical environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a surgical setting, assisting with a variety of surgical procedures.
• Knowledge of different surgical specialties and instrumentation.
