Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

• Richmond, VA

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Level 1 trauma and teaching facility ER.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Utilize Epic electronic charting system for documentation.
• Float within scope to assist other units as needed.
• Complete required modules during orientation and ensure compliance with facility policies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience.
• Valid Virginia or compact state RN license at the time of submission.
• Epic charting experience.
• Ability to submit SSN, DOB, address, phone, and email upfront for compliance.
• Willingness to work nights and adhere to facility policies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience with adult ER at Level 1 trauma centers or teaching hospitals.
• Familiarity with Virginia state health policies and fingerprinting process.
