Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) Night Shift

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), rotating shifts with weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Float between units as needed, maintaining flexibility in patient assignments.
• Adhere to hospital dress code and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Complete required clinical modules and certifications, including TNCC, NIH, ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Meet patient ratios, typically 1:3, ensuring attentive and personalized care.
• Work during scheduled nights and holidays, with a commitment to assigned shifts and RTO policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license or compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• A minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience.
• Current certifications: TNCC, NIH, ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required.
• Valid and active license in Texas or eligible for licensure via compact licensing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a Level II Trauma facility is highly preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
• Ability to float between units and handle diverse patient needs.
