Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center for a diverse patient population.
• Float between units as needed, covering the Emergency Room.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and ensure high standards of patient safety and care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient emergency services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with patient education.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license; compact license accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Must possess current certifications: TNCC, NIH, ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• Ability to work scheduled weekends, holidays, and on-call as required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Familiarity with hospital policies on floating and cross-unit assignments.
