Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for adult hematology and benign oncology patients in a clinical setting
• Perform phlebotomy, central line care, and assist with bone marrow biopsies
• Educate patients on treatments and procedures, facilitate patient scheduling, and manage phone triage
• Support case management and patient assessment, ensuring accurate documentation and communication
• Bring own stethoscope and demonstrate proficiency in outpatient hematology/oncology procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in hematology or oncology
• Valid NC or Compact state RN license, in hand at start
• BCLS certification required
• Strong phlebotomy skills and experience with outpatient clinic procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with adult benign hematology and oncology patients (non-malignant conditions)
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Oncology certifications such as ONS, BMTCN, or OCN are a plus
• Experience with bone marrow biopsies, central line access, and patient education
