Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting, including assessing, treating, and monitoring respiratory conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly.
• Support patient education regarding respiratory treatments and management.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Indiana State License as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2+ years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience in a hospital environment.
• Experience working in a pediatric or adult ICU setting preferred.
• Must be comfortable with night shift scheduling.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a pediatric or tertiary care hospital.
• Additional certifications such as NRP or PALS are a plus.
• Ability to float between different units as needed.
