Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3x12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends, float requirement, on-call on Sunday nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis treatments across multiple campus locations.
• Monitor acutely ill patients with complex medical and surgical diagnoses, including end-stage renal disease, acute kidney injury, metabolic imbalances, and drug overdoses.
• Perform treatments in patient rooms for hemodynamically unstable patients in ICU settings.
• Operate dialysis and apheresis devices, including Baxter Amia PD and Spectra Optia systems.
• Maintain patient safety through telemetry monitoring, central cardiac monitoring, and adherence to infection control protocols.
• Complete required compliance documentation, including mandatory questionnaires, education verification, background checks, and licensing.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or the ability to obtain one.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
• Ability to pass the Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs at the facility.
• Full compliance file submission prior to start date.
• Current driver’s license with address verification within a 50-mile radius (local candidates not accepted).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in dialysis, critical care, or acute care settings.
• Knowledge of dialysis and apheresis devices (Baxter Amia PD, Spectra Optia Apheresis).
• Ability to float between multiple campuses and work independently in high-pressure environments.
