• Full-time, days (5x8-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room setting for various specialties including ortho, general, GYN, podiatry, C-section, and endoscopy.
• Float between units as needed, ensuring smooth patient transitions and optimal care delivery.
• Adhere to sterile procedures and maintain a sterile environment during surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare patients and assist with procedures.
• Follow hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including 1-2 days per week and occasional weekends.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license; compact license accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital or surgical setting.
• Ability to work day shifts and participate in on-call rotation.
• Current BLS certification (or equivalent).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior operating room experience in a short-term acute care facility.
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, GYN, and endoscopy.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
