Respiratory Therapist

Job Title

• Critical Care Respiratory Therapist

• Marshfield, WI

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ABGs and CBGs in intensive care units and emergency departments.
• Cover inpatient and ED units, including pediatric patients in the ED.
• Assist with intubation and may place laryngeal airways during code blue situations.
• Provide support for EKG department overnight and during coverage needs.
• Collaborate with in-house neonatologists, hospitalists, and ICU intensivists.
• Follow hospital protocols and contribute to patient care in critical settings.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience in a critical care setting.
• Current WI RT license (may take 6-8 weeks to obtain).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT.
• Trauma Level 2 or 3 experience preferred.
• Ability to assist with intubations (not necessarily independently intubating).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with adult and pediatric patients.
• Prior travel therapist experience or work as part of a travel duo.
• Critical care experience in a hospital environment.
