• Full-time, Day shift, 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) units.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including cardiac stent placements, catheterizations, and Abla interventions.
• Monitor patient care before, during, and after procedures; administer medications and sedatives as permitted.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols and safety standards.
• Operate advanced medical equipment such as IV infusion pumps, monitoring devices, and sheaths.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Carolina or a compact state, with in-hand licensing at start.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a cardiovascular or cardiac unit.
• Basic Life Support Provider (BLSP) certification.
• Experience with procedural sedation, cardiac monitoring, and vascular access.
• Ability to work day shifts, 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical care or cardiac catheterization lab experience.
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS.
• Experience with specialized procedures like TAVR, ASD closures, or vascular interventions.
• Familiarity with Epic and other cardiac documentation systems.
