Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), including every 3rd weekend, holidays as needed, with required floating between campuses

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting with a focus on neurological and surgical needs, including stroke, aneurysm, post-op surgical, and general debility cases
• Interpret laboratory results, perform medication reconciliation, and document patient health history, allergies, and vital signs
• Perform dressing changes, set up aseptic/sterile procedures, and facilitate phlebotomy and specimen labeling (including throat and urine samples)
• Conduct telephone triage, handle pharmacy calls, and process patient refill requests
• Maintain compliance with organization policies, including passing an EKG exam and completing required modules during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year acute care or rehab experience; no first-time travel RNs
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Ability to interpret lab results, perform medication reconciliation, and document patient history and allergies
• BLS certification required
• Successful completion of Pass/Fail EKG exam (2 attempts allowed) prior to start date
• Compliance with all travel documentation, background check, and education verification requirements
• Driver’s license or valid ID for local radius validation (must be outside 50 miles)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Acute care rehab experience preferred
• Experience with neurological patient care and complex medical conditions
• Ability to float across multiple campuses and adapt to different unit needs
