Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Intensive Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown units.
• Monitor and respond to patient telemetry and vital signs using remote monitoring equipment.
• Prepare patients for procedures such as Endoscopy, IR, and Surgery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards in Cerner EMR system.
• Support a fast-paced, team-oriented environment by demonstrating compassion and professionalism.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or appropriate state.
• BLS certification (Healthcare provider level).
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in acute care settings.
• Ability to work 12.5-hour night shifts.
• Proficiency with medical telemetry monitoring and Cerner EMR.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Leadership or charge nurse experience.
• BSN degree.
• CMSRN certification or similar advanced certification.
• Experience with patient preparation for Endoscopy, IR, or OR procedures.
