• Full-time, Nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the CVPICU setting.
• Monitor and respond to critical patient changes, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with medical teams to implement treatment plans for pediatric cardiovascular and pediatric intensive care patients.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records.
• Adhere to all infection control and safety standards specific to critical pediatric care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience.
• Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid compact license.
• Previous experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with CV specialization preferred.
• Must meet all travel compliance requirements per facility guidelines.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts consistently.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holiday coverage if during holiday periods.

Additional Notes
