- Outpatient Oncology Infusion Nurse
Location
- Lacey, WA
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days (Monday-Friday), 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusions to oncology and hematology patients
- Provide outpatient infusion services for rheumatology, GI, neurology, and pulmonology patients
- Assist with therapeutic phlebotomy and IM subcutaneous injections
- Monitor patient responses and manage side effects during treatment
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Chemo Cert (ONS or ONCC) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience in an infusion center or outpatient oncology setting
- Experience with IM subcutaneous injections and therapeutic phlebotomy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology or hematology inpatient experience considered
- OCN certification preferred

Certifications and References

- Must meet Tier 3 travel compliance standards

- Modules are self-paced and require completion prior to start and annually afterward; average 16 hours, with approvals needed for over 20 hours
