Key Responsibilities

  • Float between hospital units, providing pharmacy support for inpatient and outpatient services
  • Prepare and dispense medications, including IV admixtures of non-hazardous medications
  • Chart medication administration using Epic electronic health record system
  • Maintain accurate medication documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe medication delivery
  • Contribute to a high-quality patient care environment within a critical access hospital

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Oregon pharmacy technician license (pending submissions allowed)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician or related role
  • Experience with Epic or similar electronic charting systems
  • Ability to work day shifts, including weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Must have reliable transportation for the assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • IV medication preparation experience
  • Prior hospital or critical access facility experience
  • Familiarity with patient medication management and hospital workflows
